The E-Learning Modules will be developed in the following phases:

Content Understanding/Expert Interviews

In this phase, we will meet the experts in the organisation if required, to completely understand the subject matter. Existing training material will be thoroughly internalised by us during this phase.

Storyboarding

In this phase, the entire project will be visualised and each module will be created as a storyboard. The storyboard will have a rough sketch of the screen with the list of associated multimedia elements. Each sequence will be planned as a still image/scanned photograph, text, audio, animation, etc. and this will be mentioned in the storyboard. The storyboard will be presented to client for their approval.

Designing the Program Engine

In this phase, the required multimedia program would be designed to include all the functionality expected from the modules. All the programming to incorporate multimedia elements, flow control, interactivity, navigation, etc. will be completed.

Designing Multimedia Elements

Multimedia elements that have to be developed will be scheduled and prioritized. These will include graphic elements, scanned images, video, animation sequences, text screens, etc.

Audio/Video Scripting

The script for the each screen that is visualized in the storyboard is made ready in this phase.

Audio Recording/Video Shooting

Video elements are shot using professional actors at location, or at a set in a studio. The audio is recorded at a studio, based on the audio script, using professional voice-over artists approved by the client.

Incorporating Audio/Video

Audio/video files are incorporated into the program and whole presentation is synchronized.

Assessment Modules

The Learning Modules would also incorporate assessment sub-modules for each topic. The questions and multiple-choice options for the assessment modules would need to be provided by as the client. The scores of individual participants would be captured and passed on to the LMS.

Multimedia Authoring
The various multimedia elements are assembled together and sequenced in Flash and all functionalities are programmed. The modules are edited for proper flow, navigation, interactivity, time duration and synchronization. Scripting would be done for SCORM compatibility for user activity tracking in the LMS.

Testing

The module is fully tested for running on various PC platforms, working of the selection buttons, navigation, positioning, synchronization and other programming features.

Integration

The modules would be integrated to play from a Learning Management System (LMS).
